The difference between Republicans and Democrats can be summed up pretty succinctly. When Democrats are in power, they push for everything on their wish list and they pull out all the stops to get their way. But when Republicans are in power, they act as though they’re completely impotent.
Even worse, when Democrats are not in power, they claw tooth and nail to try to keep Republicans from passing legislation or doing anything productive. But when Republicans are not in power, they all too often give in to Democrats and vote their way. That’s happening again today.
One of the most important successes of the Trump administration was President Trump’s ability to push through a number of conservative judges into the federal judicial system. In an era of judicial activism, every judicial position not filled with liberal activist judges is a position that has at least a chance of upholding our basic freedoms and constitutional rights.
You would think that with a Senate evenly split between Republicans and Democrats, President Biden would be having a more difficult time. But you would be wrong. In fact, Biden has been able to rush through his judicial nominees faster than any President before him. But why?
Well, it appears that Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has voted to approve every single one of Biden’s nominees. He’s the only Republican Senator to have done so. And in a Senate that’s evenly split, and that is going to approve judicial nominees on a party-line vote, that single defection by Graham has been the difference between keeping radical leftists off the bench and giving Biden free rein to push supporters of his radical agenda into the judiciary.
With Republicans like this, who needs Democrats? It isn’t just Democrats that need to be voted out of office, but also Republicans who enable Democrats to wreak havoc on our country.
